In a decisive action against drug trafficking in Quinte West, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested four local residents following a thorough investigation that commenced in October. On December 2, 2025, officers from the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit, supported by the Emergency Response Team, the Canine Unit, and local OPP members, executed search warrants at residences on Catherine Street and Telephone Road. During the searches, police seized approximately 90 grams of suspected cocaine, as well as oxycodone and other items commonly associated with drug trafficking. In total, police seized $250 in cash along with the narcotics and firearm, indicating a significant disruption to the local drug market.
