Kincardine Resident Charged with Impaired Driving and Threatening Conduct in Wingham

On the evening of Saturday, October 25, 2025, just after 8:00 p.m., OPP officers from the Huron County Detachment responded to a complaint on Josephine Street in the Town of Wingham, situated in the Township of North Huron. Upon arrival, officers found a driver who had allegedly consumed alcohol prior to getting behind the wheel.
The driver, identified as 42-year-old Daryl Hodgins from Kincardine, was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Following his arrest, he was transported to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton, where he provided breath samples to a qualified Intoxilyzer Breath Technician.
