A single vehicle crash west of Smiths Falls has left one man with life-threatening injuries, as reported by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The incident occurred shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Highway 43, just west of Glenview Road, in Drummond-North Elmsley.
According to the OPP, the driver, a 33-year-old man from Perth, was travelling westbound in a pickup truck when he lost control and left the road. Emergency services were quick to respond, and Lanark County Paramedics transported the injured driver to a regional trauma centre. His current condition remains critical, and the OPP is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
