Norfolk County Police Execute Search Warrant, Seize Firearms and Drugs, Recover Stolen Property


In a decisive move against local crime, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant at a property on Windham Road 14 in Simcoe, Norfolk County, on October 29, 2025. This operation, carried out by the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a considerable amount of illegal drugs and firearms.

At approximately 6:00 AM, law enforcement officers, supported by units from Brant/Oxford and Elgin/Middlesex, arrived at the site as part of an ongoing investigation into stolen property. The operation was further bolstered by the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit, and Canine Unit, showcasing the collaborative effort to tackle crime in Ontario’s communities.

Upon entering the premises, officers apprehended the two suspects without incident. A thorough search of the residence and surrounding areas revealed a cache of illegal substances, including suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, and hydromorphone.
