Kingsville Teen Charged with Impaired Driving After Vehicle Found in Ditch
In the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a concerning incident in Kingsville, Ontario, where a vehicle was found in a ditch on County Road 20 near McCain Sideroad. This event has led to serious legal repercussions for a local teenager.
Corbin Spicer, a 19-year-old resident of Kingsville, was arrested at approximately 2:03 a.m. and subsequently charged with two Criminal Code offences: operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit of 80 mg. This incident underscores the ongoing challenge of impaired driving in our communities.
As part of the legal proceedings, Spicer faces a 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS), along with a seven-day vehicle impoundment—a reminder of the strict measures in place to deter impaired driving. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on November 7, 2025, to respond to these charges.
The OPP has reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety of Ontario’s roads, emphasizing the importance of responsible driving. “Traffic safety is everyone’s responsibility,” a spokesperson stated, urging the public to report any suspected impaired driving immediately by calling 9-1-1.
Impaired driving remains a critical issue across Canada, with law enforcement agencies continually working to address this public safety concern. The OPP encourages all drivers to be vigilant and responsible, particularly as we approach the holiday season when instances of impaired driving often increase.
As Canadians, we all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. Ensuring that we never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs is essential to protecting not only ourselves but also our fellow citizens.
