Tragic Collision in Norwich, Ontario Claims Three Lives


In a heartbreaking incident on October 24, 2025, a two-vehicle collision in Norwich, Ontario, has resulted in the deaths of three individuals. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), alongside Paramedic Services and Fire Services, responded to the accident that occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Mall Road, located between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel found a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a pick-up truck that had collided. Sadly, both passengers of the SUV were transported to a nearby hospital but were later pronounced deceased due to serious life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 75-year-old man, was airlifted to a London hospital, where he too was pronounced dead.

The driver of the pick-up truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital for treatment. The OPP’s West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision, which has left the local community in shock.

Authorities had to close Mall Road between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line for several hours to conduct their investigation, but the road has since reopened to traffic.
