Early Morning Robbery at Local Business in Orillia Investigated by OPP


The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a robbery that unfolded at a local business in Orillia in the early hours of Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., a male suspect entered the establishment and threatened an employee while demanding cash and cigarettes. The employee complied, handing over a quantity of cash before the suspect fled the scene. Fortunately, no weapon was reported to be used during the incident, and there were no injuries to the employee or any bystanders.
