Logan Row, a resident of Bobcaygeon, was found stopped in a live lane of traffic on County Road 36 at Kennedy Bay Road in the early hours of October 7, 2025.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers responded to reports of a vehicle obstructing traffic around 12:42 AM. Upon arrival, they initiated an impaired driving investigation that quickly escalated due to the nature of the driver’s behaviour.
Row has been charged with six offenses under the Criminal Code of Canada, which include:

Impaired driving remains a significant issue across Ontario, contributing to numerous accidents and fatalities each year. The OPP continues to urge the public to prioritize safety on the roads and to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the responsibilities that come with driving privileges, especially for novice drivers who are still honing their skills. The legal repercussions of impaired driving can be severe, potentially leading to lengthy license suspensions, substantial fines, and even imprisonment in more severe cases.
As the investigation continues, the OPP is likely to emphasize the importance of adhering to road safety regulations and the serious consequences of impaired driving. The community of Kawartha Lakes will be watching closely as this case unfolds, serving as a cautionary tale for young drivers across the region.
