OPP Arrests Cody White in West Elgin Drug Trafficking Investigation


On October 7, 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant in the Municipality of West Elgin, culminating in the arrest of a 27-year-old man, Cody White. This operation was part of an ongoing drug investigation conducted by the Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit, supported by multiple regional units.

As a result of their efforts, Cody White was charged under the Criminal Code with several serious offenses. These include unauthorized possession of a weapon and disobeying a court order. Additionally, he faces a charge of possession of a Schedule I substance, specifically cocaine, with the intent to traffic, under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Following the arrest, White was released but is scheduled to appear in court at the St. Thomas courthouse on November 7, 2025.
