They are collaborating with the Anishinabek Police Service in this critical operation. While the alert remains in effect for Ginoogaming, residents in nearby Manitouwadge can resume their daily activities as the emergency alert for that area has been lifted.

Authorities are urging anyone in the Ginoogaming First Nation vicinity to remain vigilant and to continue sheltering in place until further notice. The OPP has instructed the public to report any suspicious activity to their non-emergency line at 1-888-310-1122, while any emergencies should still be directed to 9-1-1.
