Five Arrested in Orillia for Kidnapping and Attempted Homicide on Colborne Street
In a swift response to a distressing incident, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested five individuals in Orillia, Ontario, in connection with a kidnapping and attempted homicide investigation. The arrests occurred after officers responded to reports of suspicious activity involving a vehicle and masked individuals near an abandoned building on Colborne Street East.
On the evening of September 27, 2025, just after 9:10 p.m., OPP officers arrived at the scene and discovered an adult male inside the abandoned structure who was suffering from serious injuries. Emergency medical personnel promptly transported the victim to a local hospital for urgent medical care.
