North Glengarry Man Charged with Impaired Driving After Collision
On October 5, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers from the Stormont Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment responded to a two-vehicle collision on River Road in North Glengarry Township. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Following a thorough investigation at the scene, police arrested 36-year-old Adam Hoszu of North Glengarry. He has been charged with several serious offenses, which include:

Operation while impaired - alcohol

Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle

Two counts of failure to comply with a release order
