OPP Investigates Theft of 2012 Arctic Cat Side by Side in South Bruce Peninsula

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Grey Bruce are on the lookout for a stolen vehicle following a theft reported from a property located on Highway 6 in South Bruce Peninsula. The missing vehicle is a 2012 orange Arctic Cat Side by Side, which was taken sometime between October 1 and October 2, 2025.

According to the OPP, the Side by Side was parked behind a shed on the property when it was stolen. It bears the Ontario plate 0CY65 and has a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of 4UF12MPV9CT309694. Authorities have noted that the vehicle has damage to the right-side step, which may assist in identifying it.

In addition to the vehicle itself, several items were reported missing from the rear cargo area, including two chainsaws, multiple chains, and a small toolbox. This speaks to the potential motives behind the theft, which could include both the vehicle’s value and the tools being sought after.

The OPP are urging anyone in the area who may have seen suspicious activity around the time of the theft to step forward with information. They are particularly interested in any eyewitness accounts or leads that could help recover the stolen property. Community members are encouraged to report any suspicious activity they may encounter in their neighbourhoods, highlighting the importance of vigilance in keeping communities safe.

Residents are reminded to secure their valuable property and take proactive steps to prevent theft. This incident serves as a reminder that theft can occur anywhere, and community awareness is key in combating such crimes.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the stolen Side by Side to contact the Grey Bruce OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or to reach out to Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
