Serious Motorcycle Collision Sends Rider to Hospital in Centre Wellington Township


A single-vehicle motorcycle collision has left a rider with severe injuries in Centre Wellington Township. The incident took place just before 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, prompting a rapid response from emergency services.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from Wellington County, along with Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services and the Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department, arrived at the scene on Wellington Road 22. Upon their arrival, they found the motorcycle operator in need of immediate medical attention. The rider was subsequently transported by air ambulance to a hospital in Hamilton for treatment.

The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team is on site to assist with the ongoing inquiry.
