The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. when officers from the Nipissing West Detachment received reports of a vehicle passing unsafely in a construction zone.

Upon locating the vehicle, police initiated a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver, identified as 51-year-old Debbie Brennan from Henvey Inlet First Nation. She faces serious charges including operation while impaired due to alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit of 0.08.
