Two Vehicles Stolen in Haldimand County, One Abandoned
Haldimand County is experiencing a troubling uptick in vehicle thefts, with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reporting two incidents on Parkview Road within a week. The first theft occurred on September 24, 2025, when a red 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was reported stolen.
According to police reports, the Silverado was later used to commit a second vehicle theft on September 30, 2025. Around 3:50 PM, officers were dispatched to another complaint on the same road, where the Silverado was found abandoned after its use in the theft of a grey 2021 Dodge Durango. This vehicle bears the Ontario licence plate CYSW 549 and is still unaccounted for.
