Sarnia Man Arrested for Criminal Harassment in Paisley, Ontario
On the evening of September 28, 2025, residents in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie alerted the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to a suspicious individual lurking around vehicles in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Paisley. The incident occurred just before midnight, prompting immediate police action.
Witnesses reported that the man fled the scene when confronted by tenants. Officers quickly responded to the location and successfully apprehended the individual without further incident.
The suspect, a 40-year-old man from Sarnia, has since been charged with multiple offences, including Criminal Harassment under the Criminal Code of Canada (CC 264(1)), Trespassing at Night (CC 177), and Failure to Comply with a Release Order (CC 145(5)(a)).
