OPP Investigates Hit-and-Run Incident on Highway 401 in Cambridge
In a concerning incident early Wednesday morning, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Highway 401 in Cambridge, Ontario. At approximately 12:30 a.m. on September 24, 2025, officers from the Mississauga Detachment of the Highway Safety Division responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle that did not remain at the scene.
It is believed that the pedestrian was clipped by the side mirror of the vehicle as it drove past, leading to the unfortunate incident. Thankfully, the individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment.
