Kitchener Man Charged with Multiple Impaired Driving Offences After High-Speed Traffic Stop in Blandford-Blenheim


In the early hours of September 21, 2025, a routine traffic enforcement operation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Blandford-Blenheim led to significant charges against a Kitchener resident. Anil Dasari, 30, was stopped for allegedly driving at excessive speeds on Oxford Road 29, which sparked a deeper investigation into his driving behaviour.

According to the OPP, Dasari was charged with several serious offences, including:

  • Operation while Impaired - Alcohol

  • Operation while Impaired - Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

  • Dangerous Operation

  • Two counts of Driving while under suspension

  • Driving a motor vehicle while performing a stunt

  • Driving without a validated permit

  • Failing to surrender an insurance card

The police initiated a 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a 14-day vehicle impoundment, following established legal protocols.
